How far do you travel?I am Based in Blackpool but travel all over the Uk and internationally. So wherever you are its not a problem!
How much do you charge?
Each booking is priced individually as it depends on your requirements and many different factors.
- The time of day
- The location and distance to travel
- The time of year
- Performance times required
Does the price include VAT or any extras?
The price i quote you will be fully inclusive and there will be no hidden or extra charges.
How long do you perform for?
I usually perform for 2 hours. If you require a longer performance time then just let me know and we can discuss this to fit in with your requirements and arrangements. The fee will vary depending on performance times.
We have a quote from another magician and it is a lot less than yours, why is this?
The saying "you get what you pay for" is defiantly true when it comes to most things and this is the same for magicians. Darren's fee reflects the quality of his magic and the service you will receive. Darren is a professional magician and entertainer, so he charges a professional fee. Its like buying a mini metro and a Rolls Royce, the difference is obvious!
Do you perform at children's parties?
Unfortunately not. Darren specializes in Close-up magic for adults with quick wit and silky skills and is not a children's entertainer or clown.
However there are usually children at wedding's and private function's so i have a few pieces of magic that will keep them amazed and amused!
What happens if you cant make it due to illness etc?
This is vary rare but if for any reason i cant make it to your wedding day i will send a replacement of the same standard.
In all the years i have been performing magic i have never missed a booking due to illness.
How far in advance do we need to book?
I can take booking up to 1 year in advance. I get booked up fairly quickly so it is best to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
I do occasionally get cancelations, so feel free to contact me to check availability or to ask any questions you may have.
How do we go about booking you?
If you want to book me then simply send me an e-mail or give me a call with details of your wedding or event and if I'm available i will get back to you with a quote.
When we have verbally confirmed the booking, i will send you a booking form containing all the details for you to sign and check that everything is correct. About a week before the booking i will also send you a confirmation letter to check that all the details are still the same. I will then see you on the day!
